We are an organisation working to help make Spalding
as attractive a place to live and work in as possible,
through a particular concern for its built environment.

Besides working closely with the South Holland District Council
as part of the local planning process, the Society offers a full
programme of meetings, talks, social events and visits.
Many of these are open to the general public.

The Society was founded in 1960 and has a current membership of about 150.

Through its affiliation to the Civic Trust it can call on expert planning advice
and is in touch with the many local civic societies who share our aims.
